SACWIS Resources
Welcome to the Statewide Automated Child Welfare Information System (SACWIS) Resource Page from the NRC-CWDT. A SACWIS is a comprehensive automated case management tool that supports social workers' foster care and adoptions assistance case management practice. Currently, most States and the District of Columbia are at some stage of SACWIS planning, development, implementation, or operations. The Division of State Systems (DSS) serves as the focal point for the funding and oversight for SACWIS for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. A comprehensive list of resources, statutes, regulations, and other SACWIS-related policy guidance is available on the Children’s Bureau web site.
As part of collaborative efforts, we are pleased to provide a collection of links to resources pertaining to SACWIS.
If you use special adaptive equipment to access the Web and encounter problems with any of these documents, please contact us at nrccwdt@xtria.com and we will provide this information in an alternate format.
