GIS Database Specialist
Kathryn Kulbicki is a research assistant with 8 years of experience using geographic information systems (GIS) to support transportation, environmental, and other types of research. At Westat, she managed a team of geocoders on the National Household Travel Study, provides spatial analysis and map generation for the National Children’s Study, manages metadata training and outreach for the 2010 National Spatial Data Infrastructure Cooperative Agreement Program, maintains the geodatabase for the National Survey of the Use of Booster Seats, and provides GIS support for other national surveys. In earlier work as a GIS database specialist at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, Ms. Kulbicki was responsible for database development, map generation, and collection of Global Positioning System (GPS) data. She is an experienced user of ARcInfo, ArcReader, ArcMap 10, ArcView 3.3, and Trimble hardware and software.
